Leaving Automattic

On my way home from WordCamp US, which ended two weeks ago, I decided to leave Automattic. Today was my last day.

This company was my professional home for more than 14 years, and I’m ready for a new change.

I’m resigning because I’m not aligned with the recent strategic decisions taken by Matt in the conflict with WP Engine.

I also want to say that I fully recognize the crucial necessity of responsibly stewarding its licenses and trademarks. I continue to deeply believe in open source principles.

I’m grateful to everyone whose paths intersected with mine through WordPress and/or Automattic, of course, including Matt. I can say with absolute certainty that it has been an incredible journey. No regret there!

I’m actively looking for a fully-remote project manager or program manager position. I’m eager to join an organization that values genuine cooperation to tackle complex issues. If you know of any suitable opportunities, I’d greatly appreciate your recommendations.

Stay in touch!
